Can we just talk about how “Goth Anime Legs Uncle” IS A FAMOUS ARTIST AND AUTHOR, BUT HIS NIECE OR NEPHEW NEVER THOUGHT TO BRING THAT UP?! No no no, you have a famous artist/author for an uncle, but screw that, here’s his goth phase.

Think about it: This guy is known on Tumblr for his goth phase, but not his actual freaking work, even though we’re all familiar with his work!

mmm okay so tbh it kinda devolved into ‘i think x would find this pretty’ (also my lighting was bad) but i think in general i was going for a general theme of aziraphale (left if it wasn’t clear) would be more into pastel-y slightly more neutral colors and then crowley would be into stuff that was either dark or Loud. HOWEVER, there’s some themes in both sets that cross over a lot, like the sparkles - both because. well. i like sparkly polish and i think it’d be boring if i didn’t have any in either set, and because i think they’d both like it but in different ways. crowley’s is more straight glitter and a duochrome (the top row second from right one is supposed to look more like this - not exactly but that sort of effect - which seems crowley to me) while aziraphale has more colored holo and iridescent shades, so more angelic, in a way? but they’re not actually that dissimilar. also in certain lights the silver holo from aziraphale’s and the gold holo from crowley’s look basically identical, which i thought was deep. also i purposely wanted some that could easily cross over into the other set they could share. also i think i kind of wanted colors that were in the same family but different shades in each respective group (so like, aziraphale has more light blue/crowley more dark blue, they both have red/pink but crowley’s are more intense, etc) it’s not a rule and i don’t even think i did it consciously, but i feel that that also may be an interesting theme i managed with this little experiment.

I feel like he’d be into all the weird fad polishes too, like crackle polish and that “liquid sand” stuff from like 2013.

Mr. “elegantly manicured hands” Aziriphale, in the other hand, would have better taste in nail polish. I feel like he’d be a fan of A-England, a company that designs nail polishes with themes based on poems, myths, history, etc. Crowley would probably give him those cheap nail polishes from Hot Topic in the little skull shaped bottles to annoy him, but Az would just be delighted that Crowley was getting him presents.
